My name is Anne Lehtonen and I live in Kontiolahti (Lehmo), a town near the city of Joensuu, eastern Finland. Our family consists of me, my husband Jukka and our two children.
Dogs have always been a part of my life. I've had dogs, for example a white highland terrier, elkhounds and a labrador retriever. In the beginning of the 90's, I had bernese mountain dogs (3 males), and I started going to dog shows with them.
In 2001, we got our first welsh corgi, Nero, to accompany the bernese we had at the time. The dogs got along on fine in spite of their apparent difference in size. It was interesting and fun to watch them play together.
Because of Nero's great personality, I got involved with corgies and they became "my breed". So when Nero became our only dog, it wasn't long until another pem, Elmo, came to live with us. So corgis became part of our life. You can read our current dog situation from Dogs-page.
Our dogs are beloved family members and we enjoy walks together. I actively attend dog shows, mainly in Finland, although I have shown my dogs in Sweden and Norway, too. Unfortunately, due to my hectic work pace and the fact that family life takes up much of my time, the other doggy hobbies are on hold at the moment.

Welcome to get to know our dogs!
